Heavy makeup or minimal makeup?

iI've always been told by strangers that i have a ';natural beauty'; when i go out with very little natural makeup on (ex. light brown eyeshadow, chapstick, little mascara and maybe soft brown eyeliner) but when i go to the club or something and have my makeup a little more sexy (like smoky eyes, or shimmer, or red lips, etc.) i get less compliments. I personally think i look better with a little more makeup because i feel more like a celebrity or something, but i want to know what other people think, esp guys. Would you rather have a girl wear minimal makeup that looks natural, but just accents her feature, or heavier makeup that draws a lot of attention to a feature?Heavy makeup or minimal makeup?
i also had a similar problem ....but then i realised that if i wore minimal makeup for an occasion where everyone else was in good makeup looking more confident (cause looks r all about self confidence), i felt sad cause i knew that i could look much better than them if only i had done my makeup properly. So, i made up my mind to do somethign extra if i am gonig out for a special occasion where i feel that an extra makeup would give the occasion more credit and to keep it minimal for regular work. So i would advise you to play up ur features when it is needed n otherwise keep it minimal. Just last one more thing, do your heavy makeup in such a way that it enhances your beauty n makes u look more radiant and beautiful.....cheers!!Heavy makeup or minimal makeup?

less is always more. if you have natural beauty then u dont really need much makeup at all. im sure your pretty with and without makeup so id say stay with a natural look
If your lucky enough to have great skin they go natural. It always looks better, to make yourself feel like a celeb, maybe just do your eyes more glam and the rest stick to the natural look :)
If you want to look like a clown go ahead. You should never put heavy make up on because I see a lot of people do that and they look gross. It is realy scarey what they do. Just wear a little bit of it. Not so much.
well if you're getting more compliments when you wear minimal make-up stick to that (it's easier, quicker and better for your skin!)


Nevertheless, sometimes it's nice to go that step further and make yourself up more but maybe you shouldn't go over-board...keep it simple and sexy!


P.S i love doing smoky eyes so i'd stick t that for clubs and stuff if i were you!
im a girl and i prefer to wear light/natural looking makeup everyday (school, work, or the mall), but when im at parties i prefer to wear a little bit more makeup
hey look, i'm relly fussy about girls looks, no makeup is preferable to me but makeup can be nice like to highlight beauty already there, but i hate seeing girls in town who are orange from fake tan, with caked on make up foundation lip gloss, and celebrities are ridiculous at it, they dont look like real people totally unaproachable, go with the natural look, i think it is much much much more attractive than war paint.
Always wear minimal makeup. It looks better and doesnt spoil the skin (much).

I would try to keep the smoky sexy look and tame the lip color. If you tame your eyes then where the bright lip color. To much makeup can attract negative attention. Try diffrent ideas and stick to what you feel comftrable. Be you!

When I was in high school, I wore makeup every day. After I got out of school, I toned down on the makeup. It took me a while to get away from wearing makeup but I haven't worn any in a very long time and am told all the time that I don't need to wear it. I occasionally wear lip gloss but that's about the extent of my beauty routine. It's nice going to bed looking the same way I will when I get up (save for some hair brushing).
its better to go for a minimal make-up...it highlights your features..
minimal. guys don't like to find out tha ta girl is a totally different face when she has no make up. let people know who you really are. not to mention, the more makeup you wear, the more you have to worry abou tit getting everywhere, and on your clothes and your guy's clothes.
ifeel the same way i think that wearing little makeup but to where it is noticable is the way i wear it ( ilittle eyeliner,mascara,eye shadow and blush on the cheecks is all i use if u have natural beauty there's no need for it
