Use a brown or colored mascara. Using a volumizing one will pump up your lashes. Use a brown or colored eyeliner, but make sure its either dark or brightly colored. Light eyeliner goes unnoticed with eyeshadow and lots of mascara. As far as eyeshadow goes, just pick a pretty color that goes with your mascara and eyeliner. Put everything on like you would regularly. What Are Some Ways I Can Do Heavy Eye Makeup But, WITHOUT Using Any Kind Of Black?
try using either dark plums, charcoals, or browns. you can do a smokey eye, and use different shades to tone the classic ';smokey eye';. you can also use a brown mascara instead of a black one for a more natural look, the same goes with eyeliner, using something grey, silver, white, plum, brown, or green will give the look of more defined eyes without the black. you might also want to try only going a little past your crease with shadow, instead of almost up to your brow, this will tone down the darkness a lot.
use dark blue eyeshadow on your eyelids and a little under your botttom lashes. put dark brown mascara on top and bottom lashes. be sure to apply it heavily, or the look youre going for won't work. then take silver cream eyeshadow and go over the dark blue on your eyelids. smear just a bit across the eye and onto the outer corners of your eyes. then use white eyeshadow on top of the dark blue eyeshadow you have applied to underneath you bottom eyelashes and create a beautiful, starry look. this whole effect will appear heavy, but it wont be black eye makeup. hope i helped!! =]
Well, I like my eye make up heavy too..I use black mascara, but that's it!! My little trick is i get a cream eye shadow (purple) usually a roll on because it's easier and more precise to detail.. then i get a darker purple powder shadow and i kind of pat in on.. yes some powder will fall on your skin while applying, but my advice do your eyes first then the rest after...i also use like a plum colored eyeliner... and then the rest should be a breeze!! I hope this helped but you can use really any color you want!!!
Using any jewel toned colors (plum, emerald, peacock blue, etc.) on a smokey eye sort of format can help you get this effect.

Shadows, eyeliners, and mascara come in almost all of these colors.

Pigment shadows are also great for getting a dark, intense look. They can be used as eyeshadow and liners.
brown? liquid eyeliner, brown eyeshadow. some sexy wings on the side of each eye never hurts. i don't know what you'd do with the mascara part though. if you have any other questions regarding makeup, feel free to email me! dcayhill@yahoo.com
