it's something about girls ..GCC girls generally speaking ..they misunderstand the whole point of make up ..arabic women r well known for dazzling eyes ..so some think that they don't qualify ..lol..so they actually draw new features instead of enhancing their own ..i fight with my mom all the time about how i don't wear enough eye make up .. so i'm glad u C this the way i do ..and y at the mall ..it's 2 attract attention ..poor girls ..they need it bad..Whats with the heavy eye makeup at the malls?

OH this is nothing.. If you were here about 10years ago, you'd really be freaked out. This makeup is actually lighter than before.. .. used to be the more of a ';Cleopatra'; look.. there is also (maybe not used, but the look is still copied) a type of ancient makeup called ';Kohl';.. its a black powder type of stuff that they used to believe when applied to the eye lids helped them medically and also as well as beauty.. Thats what Cleopatra and the ancient women wore, the huge black liner that seemed to go outwards like cat eyes..


anyways.. back to today.. The only thing women can show since they are covered from head to toe is their eyes. they feel they better be pretty, so you'll see a gallon of makeup on them... Its kind of hypocritical if you ask me. but oh well!... Im married and Ive no one to show off to but my husband and he doesnt need me to fancy up my eyes.. loooooooool

well, yes, some girls do heavy make up, in an unattractive way at all.
Arabic girls like to use a lot of eye liner. Its a cultural thing. If you ever saw Arab girls in a wedding or a party you would also notice that they like to wear a lot of make-up in general, some even have drawings on thier faces. Arabs consider the eyes to be the best feature in a woman so they like to play their eyes up with a lot of make-up. A lot of make up on the eyes can look very nice if its done right.
