How does heavy and light makeup looks under the spotlight?

well this is from personal experience, i'm a dancer. when were onstage/under the spot light, we have to wear loads of eyemake and dark/bright lipstick. it drains your face if you wear light makeup under a spotlight.
i think that the thicker the make-up the brighter it will look and more clown like so aplly lighty to build up thelayer or you could justs search showmakeup how tos in google
wear a good amount of makeup... especially blush! make sure to wear a nice lip color too... something that's natural, but stands out- and with some gloss. I would use some eyeshadow %26amp; eyeliner along with mascara to make your eyes pop!
Being under the spotlight makes your face look all washed out. You need to wear a lot of make-up when you are on stage to make your features stand out.
I've been on stage many times and the best advice is wear ALOT of it! under spotlights you can look washed and the audience won't be able to see your expressions or anything. so for a guy i reccomend mascara (only a little bit), a light pink blush, eyeyliner, concealer, lipstick (again, very light pink). Obviously you have to put concealer on first. I really reccomend getting a girl to help you put it on. You can buy this stuff at Wal-Mart or CVS or anywhere really.
