Why are televangelists' wives such big fans of heavy makeup, false eyelashes and big, poufy wigs?

Is there some Bible verse I missed that orders women to make themselves look like drag queens? Take a look at Jan Crouch and Tammy Faye!Why are televangelists' wives such big fans of heavy makeup, false eyelashes and big, poufy wigs?
I would say for several very valid reasons.


1) They are usually born from poor origins. so, it looks good to them.


2) These women are married to men who have enormous egos, and very little less. So, they need to do this to feel better about themselves, because, they have low self-esteem.


3) The church has a contract w/Mabelene.Why are televangelists' wives such big fans of heavy makeup, false eyelashes and big, poufy wigs?
Um... maybe to disguise themselves while on camera so they still have some hope of normal life when they go grocery shopping...?
Many of these women are from a culture where big hair and heavy make-up are more accepted. There are many more Christian women who dress much differently, but God does give us freedom with our appearance. In Christ we can look like caricatures if we want to.
To hide their embarrassment at being married to hypocrites.

Ahahahahahaha! That is too funny. No, there isn't a bible scripture. I'm guessing that they don't realize how kooky they look. Tammy Faye seems to be pretty nice, though. She's the one that was on the Surreal Life, right?
