What company of makeup is best for stage makeup without being too heavy or too expensive?

I am 15 and I am looking for makeup for a hip-hop dance show. I am wearing green, pink and denim. What company of makeup is best for stage makeup without being too heavy or too expensive?
For stage, film, or photos, I'd go for either Ben Nye (stage makeup) or MAC (non-stage makeup). Personally, I'd go for the stage makeup first (and 'water' it down with face lotion/cream or a thin foundation if it's too heavy) only because it's designed to cover and look the same on stage/photos/film. If you have a costume shop near you, you can usually try on the makeup and see how it feels before you buy it. Also, it's generally cheaper than MAC or other high end cosmetics. It's definitely not for every day, and you'll want to have a good makeup remover. Using something like Ben Nye (Mehron is another good brand) will give you a nice base for any color makeup you put on over it. You can use pretty much any brand of shadows and blushes.

With the color combo you're wearing, I'd suggest soft pinks on the lips, cheeks, and shadow and then add in a little green with liner or the outside of the eyelids.

I would also *highly* recommend a makeup sealer, no matter what you end up using for makeup, and a little goes a *long* way, so you can use it for events. The sealer is sprayed on to the makeup (spritzed lightly on your face - I like to spray the air and then walk under it with my face up) after everything is applied, before makeup to keep sweat from ruining your makeup, and/or layers (like after foundation and powder and then again after shadow and blush - it helps shadow and blush to stay on longer too) to keep your makeup from smudging or running.

These are two that I've worked with and like the most:

(the Final Seal doesn't smell best, and the Barrier Spray smells minty, but both work great)

The only thing I *wouldn't* use is mineral makeup for this. If there are any photos taken or film, or even spotlights or bright lights, the mineral makeup will reflect more and your face will appear lighter. Also it can clump if you get really sweaty/oily.

Hope that helps! What company of makeup is best for stage makeup without being too heavy or too expensive?
darker the better, stage lights wash away colour
Eye make up: Mac

Foundation: Bare Minerals

lipsticks/glosses: Mac

concealer: Laura Mercier

Blusher: Mac

highlighter: Benefit Moon beam or High beam
I'd suggest mineral make-up bc it'd actually stay on your face while you're dancing; the cheaper ones you can find at any groceries store; try covergirl or loreal
